| The park offers playgrounds for toddlers through teens; a fitness trail; and a 1-mile nature trail, winding through pine flatwoods, and adjacent to herbacious and forested wetlands. Select areas of Urfer Family Park are dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed in or near restrooms, playgrounds, or pavilion. The following map illustrates these areas. A boardwalk also overlooks wetland areas. Signs throughout the park provide descriptions of natural and sustainable features.
